What brings you Joy? - Art Competition

Working with our local schools based in Gosforth we asked the kids 'What brings you joy'?

We asked to see their responses in an drawing, painting, illustration or collage. The competition was open to all school children in Gosforth from reception to Year 4.

We received the most wonderful entries, these kids are very talented! It really was so difficult to decide on a winner and 2nd and 3rd places for each year group.

The judging panel were tearing their hair out as it was very very tough. We were so impressed. We need to congratulate the following kids as very worthy winners of the competition; Maeve Teo, Nnamadi Ajibo, Ryoyi Jiang, Lailah Tweedy, Fred McCarthy, Cody Watts, Eilah Cunningham, Brendan McGowan, Alice Yu, Wilbur Whitehouse, Zach Pickles, Arthur Whitehouse, Willow Watts, Hazel McKenna and Reyarsh Bindal. Your prizes (if you haven't already been awarded them) are waiting for you at Yum Lush. Please collect at a suitable time for yourselves.

We'd like to congratulate every single person who entered the competition, you are all winners in our eyes, and there's always the next one coming soon..so keep your eyes out for more info.

The winners will receive their prizes and the artwork will be going on display in an art gallery in the shopping centre in Mid August. Please come and enjoy the works of art on our walls.
