Security

The Gosforth Shopping Centre provides you with a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. We employ a number of security measures but also operate a number of unseen, covert security measures for your protection.

CCTV

Gosforth Shopping Centre is covered by CCTV throughout, including the external car park areas. The system is monitored by our on-site security team during open hours, and remotely out of hours. To report security issues, please call 0191 211 1540.

Car Parking

Gosforth Shopping Centre has a large parking area on our rooftop. We have 105 spaces including 6 disabled bays and 4 parent/child bays.

The weekly grocery shop couldn’t be simpler at Sainsbury's at Gosforth Shopping Centre which offers free car parking and lift access to the roof.

The car park is operated by YourParkingSpace and is free to park for one hour. 

You pay at the exit when you are leaving the centre.

The car park is open Monday to Friday 7 am to 9 pm Saturdays 7 am to 8 pm and Sundays 7 am to 5 pm.

You can pay for parking by cash, card, express payment or Autopay.

Toilets and Baby Changing

Toilets are available in the shopping centre by the back entrance to Gosforth Central Park. There are baby-changing and disabled facilities.

Disabled Toilet

The disabled toilet at Gosforth Shopping Centre can be opened using a RADAR key.  Please call Newcastle City Council on 0191 278 7878, for information on how to apply for a key.

Shopmobility and Accessibility

Electric scooters and wheelchairs have good accessibility around the centre and the shops.

Cycle Racks

There is a cycle rack in Gosforth Central Park at the back of the centre (in front of Etto's terrace).

Dog Friendly

Well-behaved dogs are now allowed in the mall of the shopping centre. All dogs must be on a lead or carried.

Some shops and coffee shops are also dog friendly. This is at the discretion of each individual shop.

Yum Lush, Scope, WHSmith, Rook Matthews Sayer and Etto are all dog-friendly shops.

Cashpoints

There are conveniently located cash points at Lloyds Bank in front of Yum Lush and at the entrance to Sainsbury's.
